Forrester & Gray is an independent Austin real estate agency founded in 2008. We've grown to a 14-agent team because our clients kept referring us — not because we bought advertisements.
Two agents, one belief: sell the city you know
Margaret Forrester and James Gray met showing homes in Tarrytown. Both were frustrated by big brokerages that handed buyers to whatever agent was available and priced listings from a spreadsheet.
So in 2008 they opened Forrester & Gray with two rules: every client works with the agent they chose, and every price opinion is backed by local comps we can defend in writing. Those two rules still run the firm today.
Now 14 agents strong across buying, selling, leasing, and property management, we remain deliberately boutique — small enough that your phone calls get answered, deep enough to handle any transaction.
