Marrakech & Sahara Desert
From Marrakech’s souks to the Merzouga dunes — an Atlas Mountains road trip ending in a camel-trek Sahara camp night.
Africa · Kenya
The great migration, big cat mornings and open-sided camp life.
The Masai Mara is safari scenery at its most complete: tawny grassland, flat-topped acacias and herds that stretch to the horizon. This nine-day Kenya safari pairs the classic game-drive rhythm — dawn drives, long golden afternoons, monkeys at the camp table — with deeper immersion. We track the great migration with Maasai guides, walk (on foot, with armed rangers) into the bush at dusk, and share life at a Maasai village over chai and storytelling.
Accommodations are open-sided and close to the wild, from a canvas-safari camp to a river-lodge perched above hippo pools. Every drive is capped at two vehicles, so sighting a leopard is an event shared with your own group rather than a convoy.
Arrival, scenic flight to the Mara airstrip, first sundowner at the camp.
Dawn drive, lion and cheetah country, long breakfast back at camp.
Full day following the migration herds across the Mara Triangle.
Optional hot-air balloon at dawn, champagne breakfast on the plains.
Village visit, ethnographic walk, community lunch and beadwork session.
Dusk bush walk with armed rangers, night-sky storytelling at camp.
Transfer to the Talek river lodge, hippo pool watching, evening game drive.
Bush breakfast, leopard-lagoon game drive, farewell bush dinner.
Final dawn drive, scenic flight back to Nairobi, onward connection.
